How we got Started

St. Joseph & The Helpers Charity is dedicated to re-building the lives of children and families whose lives were torn apart during the wars in the former Yugoslavia. Widespread ethnic cleansing left millions of families homeless and in dire need of help. This charity has been established to help restore stability in the lives of those most affected. A programme has been established to help with proverty relief, humanitarian aid for education and healthcare, sponsorship of orphaned children, building orphanages, school and homes for the elderly.

I wish extend our heartfelt thanks to all our members, helpers and donors in Ireland, UK and USA who have raised over €1,400,000 for the three major building and humanitarian projects since our charity was formed. 100% of your donations go directly to the projects as all administration costs are paid by the directors of the charity.

we have completed all three building projects which are now making a huge difference to the lives of others in a country that has close to 60% unemployment. We can’t thank you enough for your wonderful support.
